Dickey Vision Fund is the first scheme launched under the Dickey Alternave Investment Trust; the fund was launched in June 2020. The fund has grown at quite a remarkable pace in terms of its capital commitment. As many sectors of our economy are migrating from unorganised segment to the organised segment, our fund is identifying various business players which has potential of such immense growth and targeting investment opportunities across those companies. The total fund size is of Rs. 400 crores.
The scheme came into existence in April 2021. Considering the investment opportunities and encouraging response from the investors, the Dickey Mudra Fund was floated to raise Rs. 400 crores with a Green Shoe opon of ₹50 crores. The overall investment proceeds raised from all the unitholders of the fund would then be invested into potenal investee companies to generate alpha for the fund’s investments. Few segments of the market tend to be mispriced despite having immense growth prospects, the scheme intends to invest in those classes of companies to unlock the underlying value of those and doing an altruistic acvity of reviving those companies.
The latest scheme floated by Dickey Alternative Investment Trust, got approved by SEBI in October 2022. Its core areas of Investment are Aviation, Airline Ancillary, Urban- Infrastructure and Technology. The scheme intends to invest in the company engaged in futuristic and highly specialised projects and industries that are core technical in nature like development of Data Centre and Aviation Infrastructure Development. Considering the boost by the government and authorities towards logistics and IT infra development, the Fund’s potential investment avenues are targeted to benefit by them.
